A letter to anyone struggling this winter

Dear friend,

What you are going through is unfair. I’m so sorry.

It feels like the world is against you. And on top of that, you’re fighting some internal battles. You’re not happy with where you are in life. You’re not happy with how you look. And those stupid holiday cookies you ate are adding guilt on top of it all.

I know it’s hard.

You deserve better.

And I have something better to offer you.

It’s a secret that will make you feel renewed. It will empower you to let go of the negativity that’s making a nest in your mind. It will help protect you from all the yuck your co-workers, friends and family throw in your face.

Are you ready for it?

The best part of this secret is that it’s already inside of you.

It’s been there this whole time.

It’s your mind, and it’s incredibly powerful.

You have the power to let go of every negative thought that tries to enter.

You have the power to fill that new space with light and love.

And I hope you do.

I hope you invite passion, new experiences and radical self-love into your life.
I hope you only invite visitors to your mind that serve you,
And kick out anything or anyone that doesn't.
They are unwelcome.

But you have the power to see them to the door.
Acknowledge them, face them
and then see them out.

It starts right now. In this moment.
This breath.

All you have to do is decide you want it.

You have the power.

Say it with me:
I have the power.

(You’ve totally got this.)

When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.
